Matt Frei – World Issues or Current Affairs?

Europe Editor and presenter for Channel 4 News, Matt Frei joins Barnes BookFest for a special Friday evening discussion on the current and most pressing issues of the day, giving his insight and perspective on world events. Matt is well known for his powerful news reporting. He recently led Channel 4 news coverage of events in Ukraine.

Matt will also give an exclusive Friday afternoon briefing on current affairs for students from local schools.

Matt Frei previously presented the BBC World News America bulletin, and he was also the Washington Correspondent. In his early career with the BBC, he reported from Bonn, Rome, Bosnia, Kosovo, North Africa, Hong Kong and Singapore.
